June 2018: Phytopathology publishes our paper on Candidatus Liberibacter solanacearum in Israel carrot fields (10.1094/PHYTO-10-17-0348-R).

July 2016: Israel Science Foundation (ISF) decides to fund our 4-year project on outer membrane vesicles (OMVs). Plenty of work now for Gideon, Leron and a new PhD student that will be recruited soon...

July 2016: Dr. Leron Katsir is a new postdoc in the lab, WELCOME LERON! and good luck.

December 2015: In the next 4 years we will part of a new Horizon 2020 project to manage "Pest Organisms Thretening Europe" (POnTE) togetehr with many other groups in Europe (http://www.ponteproject.eu).

November 2015: Israel's Ministry of Economy funds the multi-deciplinary, long-term project for developing microbe-based agricultural products for disease and insect management. This is an applied-oriented project involving 12 research groups from different research institutes in Israel.

November 2015: Israel's Chief Scientist of the Ministry of Agriculture decides to fund our collaboartive 3-year project on developing novel diagnostic tools for reproductive plant material.

October 2015: Nofar Shoshana upgraded her status and is now a M.Sc. student in the lab. She studies plant host response to intracellular pathogens. Good luck Nofar, we're happy to have you in our team!

September 2015: Alon Piasetzky has joins the lab and will carry his M.Sc. thesis on the topic of basic aspects of carrot yellows disease. Good luck Alon and we're happy to have you in our team!

May 2015: BARD (Israel-US Bi-National Research Fund) decides to fund our 1-year project on Liberibacter-caused diseases together with Prof. Leonardo de la Fuente from Auburn University and Prof. Bryce Falk from UC Davis

Nov 2014: JCA decides to fund our 2-year project working on genetics of plant diseases and education in Israel's periphery

Oct 2014: Israel's Ministry of Science decides to fund our 2-year project on grapevine yellows disease in collaboration with Dr. Vered Naor and Dr. Tirza Zahavi
